According to my experience after using, I have to say that this with "IdolPad +" is the hottest piece of Tablet lined up for it's price. Operating System is Android 4.0 based Support Micro SD card expandable memory upto 32GB. The screen size is universal; 5 point capacitive 7", the camera is 0.3 Mega Pixels but enhanced screen resolution of 800*480. It's processor of CPU 1.2GHZ (cortex A8) and 512 MB DDR3 RAM, Support for hardware OpenGL 2.0 3D graphics- great quality pictures, videos and games. It is very light in weight, slim, trim and smooth in shape and size so very ease in use, it is in as a whole constructed to be very sturdy with excellent grippers, making it easier to hold and carry. In order to make it more efficient, Some of the pros and cons of this tablet according to my judgement is as follows,

Here are why Idolpad is great comparing to other (PROS):

1. WIFI signals is very strong

2. Capacitive Touch screen- 5 points that very responsive.

3. Able to play Netflix seamlessly, no choppy video.

4. Skype Video chat works great - The camera is in the Top Middle spot so easier to do Skype video chat.

5. Battery lasts more than 4 hours of intensive usage.

6. Looks and feels good and very light.

Lacking Features (CONS):

1. No dual camera

2. Camera only 1.3 MP so quality of picture is not so great.

Overall good for the price! Thus, my overall rating for IdolPad Plus is definitely 5 stars for it's price and it's quality. Good Job!

I have recently purchased a IdolPad PLus and I Love It. I always play on it and so i have to charge it every 4-5 hours. Here are Pros and Cons about it.

Inexpensive Android Tablet

I just recv'd my new toy....7" Android 4.0 OS tablet and keyboard protector case. This little device is worth every penny....<$100 for the tablet itself and a for a few xtra bucks, a really decent keyboard which attaches to the small adaptor included with the tablet. I also purchased screen protectors and an xtra micro SD card. I recv'd all of these items on the same day, well before the anticipated delivery date. I didn't expect to get these before the holiday, but to my great pleasure, everything came Mon. 7/2/12. I've been hard-pressed to put it down! I did alooot of research. I've gotten all my orders delivered timely and efficiently, and always intact. As far as the tablet goes, it's very user friendly, nice and slim to handle. Fits nicely in the Android keyboard/protector. The only complaints I have are: the tablet does get hot from use and the touch screen can be a bit sensitive. I have a smart phone, so I am quite familiar w/ the Android OS. Great product for the money and great start to the world of tablet ownership, especially if you're on a budget.

This product arrived one day before the expected delivery date. I was impressed that this item ships fully charged and ready to use right out of the box. I am still getting used to the ice cream sandwhich system because I currently use honeycomb on my android phone. I have noticed the battery life is kind of short on this item but that is to be expected with the price we paid for this item. This product is light and does not feel cheaply made. The wifi works great if I am using my home network or my phone as a hotspot. The system seems to respond well so far and plays flash videos very quickly. I am very happy with this product and I will be buying two more of these units for my children because I am sure once they touch it they will want it. I will update this review once I try the hdmi port and other features.

UPDATE********
I have been using this tablet all day. Just got more apps from play store so far words with friends, draw something, and angry birds works great on this unit.

I absolutely love my IdolPad +! For less than $100 it has all the features I need and it works wonderfully. I never had any problems with it. I bought the keyboard and it attaches nicely to a small adaptor to the tablet. It's very slim, not bulky like other similar products and its very user friendly. It's definitely a great product for the money. I was able to "Activate" the Google market by seeing that quick youtube video of idolpad +. If you want a tablet and you're on a budget, I'd recommend this idolpad+ to everyone! It's not like other cheap sub $100 tablets from China, looks very solid!

Got it few weeks back, nice design and looks good, battery life sucks, support takes too long to get answers and what you get back is nothing helpful in answering your questions or providing a resolution. So you just give up and live with it. If you can live with that then get it, you can't beat the price and for that price it's not worth it to return it.

Absolutely fantastic deal! Product arrived earlier than expected in perfect condition everything was just as stated in advertisement. This is a excellent fast running easy to navigate and very very affordable tablet. How could you spend over 500 plus on a iPad when this works just as well at less than one fifth the cost, heck its under a 100 bucks! Everyone should have one.

I bought this tablet as an additional unit to browse whilst I go about my busy day. The iPad is not as convenient for that. I thought of the kindle fire but when I saw this product and the price I decided to try it. I am very happy I did. I find it very user friendly, portable and an overall good value for the cheaper price when compared to competing units. It does have a few drawbacks, so far the battery life isn't very long...3 hrs continuous use approximately, also the unit gets pretty warm when the battery is charging, mind u I've only charged it once so far. It is also a tad bit thicker than I thought it would be, but it it still one of the thinnest out there..just about the same as the iPad 2. I really appreciate the cables that accompany the product which adds to its usability.
Like I said, overall a great product for its price.

I bought this tablet for my husband and I got it faster than expected. This little tablet is pretty good for the price, well put together and very light weight. I did a test run for it before giving it to my husband and I think its perfect, netflix plays really good, no choppy video here, I was able to browse the internet easily enough and I got a 16gig card for it too. Over all Im very impressed with this tablet, so much so that I bought one for my daughter as a gift so we can chat via skype.

After numerous attempts to buy a " cheap" tablet I finally got it right!!! First bout my daughter a 100 tablet from " discount" store... Was CRAP- didn't know ANYTHING about them and the tablet couldn't even download a game because of the OS... Returned it and bought a coby kyros 2.3 from amazon... CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP... Could download games this time but it was nonresponsive to touch and very flimsy... Thankfully ( or not) she dropped it and the screen cracked... Onto my next search... ( in the mean time bought my 12 yo a Le pan for 250... AWESOME but didn't want to spend that kind of money on 5 yo) finally decided on this one after much research... It is AWESOME!!! I'm not Gina go into specifics but trust me when I say it's was the best 100 I ever spent... Personally like it better than my step sons Samsung Haley and at a 1/3 of the cost - cant go wrong!!! I will be buying one for myself next... Researching for a 10" but this is an amazing 7" tablet!!!

Many people may think this tablet may be wash up and no good cause of the never heard of brand idolian but i must tell you it's fantastic 7 inch tablet with specs that can match with the first generation samsung galaxy tab. The screen resulotion is decent and very easy on the eyes. The colors could be a bit more vivid and true but that shouldn't stop you from buying it. It truly does have great viewing angels while playing games that deal with the motion sensor tilt. I also love the 1.2 ghz processor its very snappy and decent. No hiccups whats so ever. I purchase two for my younger siblings ages 7 n 10 and they absolutetly love their new small computer. Netflix work smooth and its such a breeze setting up wifi. Connection is consistent.

Also it comes with 4gb of built in storage with no SD card built in but you are only leave with a total of 2.08 gb of storage for your apps and pictures. I wish it would come with a kickstand but i'll purchase that seperate and with a case. I will defeinelty be keeping my eye out on new products from Idolian. Love their affordable tablets with modest specs. Very plz buy it and you won't regret it!! : )

The IdolPad by Idolian is a pretty amazing tablet, given the price. I ordered this product based on the Six "5 Star" reviews at the time of purchase. I'm already the proud owner of The Motorola Xoom. The Xoom is a wonderful tablet and I love it. But I always wanted a 7 inch tablet because it's easier to carry around and, being the size of an average e-reader, less cumbersome. I was leaning toward purchaing the Samsung Galaxy 2 (7 inch) tablet. I played around with it a few times at BestBuy and fell in love with it. Then I stumbled on the Amazon listing for the Idolian 7 inch Idolpad. I read each review for the IdolPad and liked what I read. The spec's were pretty impressive as well for a machine that I would spend less than $90.00 for. Here is what I was searching for in a 7 inch tablet:

It needed to be a Fully functioning CAPACITIVE Android tablet equipped with the Google Play Store. The IdolPad meets expectation. This little machine is a true Android 4.03 tablet.

It needed to be flash compatible. The IdolPad comes complete with full flash capability installed.

It needed to be wifi capable, able to pick up the wifi signal from a good distance away and, at least, as fast as my Motorola Xoom while surfing the internet. The IdolPad meets this criteria as well.

It needed to execute and play the many types of Audio, Video and Ebook files right out of the box. And I wanted to be able to stream Netflix movies without a hitch. The IdolPad, more than, meets expectations here as well. HD Movies play flawlessly.

Again, for the price, This machine is amazing. I would go so far as to say that, performance wise, it is as good as my Motorola Xoom. And I am not exaggerating when I say this. Don't get me wrong, it does have it's drawbacks. For one, this machine does not sport a dual camera. Now this isn't important to me but it might be to some of you. The one camera that it does have is a front facing 1.3 mp video camera. Not the best but good enough for my needs. Good enough for Skyping if that's your thing. Secondly, the specs say that this tablet sports a 4 gb internal drive. Not true. It's actually a 2.05 gb drive. But again, this isn't an issue for me either because I also ordered a 32 gb Micro SD Card, for 20 bucks, at the time of purchase. That is the max capacity the SD card holder takes. And this is excellent for my needs. The card reader works beautifully. And finally, the battery life isn't all that it could be on this tablet. My Xoom allows me 9 to 10 hours of continuous play before needing a recharge. The IdolPad, fully charged, gives about 4 hours of continuous use between charges. And by continuous use, I mean being able to watch two Netflix new release movies straight through before needing to recharge. And yes, I am speaking from personal experience. Four hours is not all that great, at least compared to other tablets out there. But it's not too bad either. Just carry your charger with you and this, too, will be a non issue.

This tablet also sports a HDMI Port but I have yet to test it so I can't comment on it.

Before purchasing this tablet, I had never heard of the Idolian name brand. But I am incredibly impressed with this tablet. It is incredibly well made and I love it. Shipping wise, I received my package in 2 business days. Gotta love Amazon Prime. If you want a quality tablet for very short money, I would highly recommend this machine. I am so very glad I took a chance on it. Five Stars all the way.

The Idolian Idolpad plus, is a wonderful little wonder for the price paid. I could not believe that for about $90 you would actually get a working tablet. No, it does not download everything like an IPAD would, or like some other tablets do. But then, you would have to spend around $500 to get to a real tablet type computer. For the price paid, it really does a great job. Netflix and Youtube are playing just great. Also you get a gmail account and the Google Play full Apps market. It also has a voice activation system in case you want to search by voice. I have also downloaded few books and they are great. Believe me, you will not be disappointed with this little jewel of a tablet. Just do not expect it to be perfect like an Ipad and you will really enjoy it. One more thing, it is very fast browsing the web and also, it will allow you to download many videos that come with a paper's article. For example, I am able to both read the Huffington Post and download many of the videos offered with the articles. Yes, very nice little tablet. The only thing that I don't like very much is that it keeps shifting my bookmarks from the desktop back to the bookmark files every time I turn the tablet off, and on again. If anybody has any suggestion how to prevent that, I would appreciate it very much. I hope all this information will be valuable to you to help you decide about a possible purchase. Also, I want to add two more things. This tablet plays Pandora Radio and the last thing I want to add is that the scree is very small and if you wear glasses or are not a teenager anymore, you might find a little irritation to your eyes trying to strain on the small screen. It is a great tablet for older guys like me, just to use on the go. But you would need healthier, younger eyes to spend long periods of time without experiencing some kind of eyes irritation due to the small print and screen. True, the small print can at times be enlarged by stretching the screen with your fingers, but not all the time. This tablet will serve me well for now. Hopefully in the next two years when the good 10" screen computer tablets now running at around $500 will come down at least half the price, I will be able then to purchase one of them and be kinder to my eyes.

I just received this tablet today and it has done everything it is suppose to do. I am loving it so far. I have tried multiple tablets in the $100 - $250 range over the last 3 months and this one has outperformed all of them. If you need a good tablet, don't hesitate on this one. Ok so after speaking to a great guy at Idolian, I received my replacement Idolpad+, unit works good, but volume is very low. After speaking with them about and couple of emails still have no answers. There are also no USB drivers for this unit. Android SDK<ADB> can not find this device, though it shows it being alive in windows. Otherwise a nice a great little unit for the kids

This tablet full filled all my expectatives and even more! I was thinking to bought since december last year! And now I have it, I don't want to be away it.

Even when this is my 1st tablet, I've tried several and this is the best for the price! If your looking for something good, cheap and stable, this is the best option! I have it since 3weeks ago and just I love it. My only complain is about battery, I know it's 4-5h but I have never saw the indicator in 100% charge. Maybe it's only my but I don't care too much.

Games looks great! I can even play Shadowgun smoothly, no lags. Other hard games like asphalt, or modern warface are not compatible but for my is not the big deal.

Bought when this was on sale for 89.98$ Device is quite OK and responsive. While it does not have builtin GSM radio it detects Huawei 3G USB dongles (E153u-1) trough USB adapter. Of course it sometime's take a quite a time to detect or won't detect at all. Don't know whether it's S/W or loose connection in cable.
Only concern I had is the standby battery life. It seems to drain completely in a week or so even though I keep it in Airplane Mode.

First off, for $100, this is a pretty solid tablet. I installed a 16g micro sd card in this thing, and I have absolutely no problems downloading apps, podcasts, playing youtube videos, web surfing, listening to music, etc. Wifi hooks up with absolutely no problems. Didn't have to call anyone for internet setup like I had to do with my other gadgets. Finds IP addresses quickly and easily. Clean, clear screen. Plays games well (finally able to play Angry Birds!). The Idolian keyboard case

Idolian 7” tablet stand with usb keyboard-black leather carrying case. Very, very pleased with the concept. A great "starter" choice for a first-time tablet user.

Now, for the problems:

*The battery life is crap. I literally have to keep the tablet plugged into the charger at all times for it to work long enough to play games, read books, or use anything requiring wifi.

*Many, but not all, of the Google play apps are compatible with this device.

*Some of the apps that are compatible require you to go through a lot to get them up and running on the device (ex. amazon mp3, I had to return to amazon.com several times before the shortcut appeared and it started working properly. I also had to do the same for the kindle app, but after a lot of hassle, it's working fine now).

*The car charger that Amazon recommended for it doesn't work well at all. I need to find another one.

*The HDMI cable that Amazon recommends for it is WAY too big; can't hook up Netflix to TV without one!

*The tablet shows a full charge all the time, which is misleading, because after two or three hours of use, it has no charge.

*How am I able to tell that I'm losing power? The tablet just FREEZES UP, starts blinking on and off, and the touch screen stops responding. Sometimes the sound goes out (which was very scary, because I thought it completely went out at first). The tablet just stops working. Once I plugged it back up to the charger, though, it starts working normally again. However, I will say that the battery charges VERY fast once plugged up (30 to 45 minutes, even with apps running!).

*The battery runs very, very hot.

*Sometimes, when trying to shut the tablet down, and especially when it's low on power or plugged up to that faulty car charger, the tablet will blink on and off constantly. That probably explains why, when I shut the tablet down at night on a full charge, when I wake up in the morning and turn it on, it's back to 1% charge again. WTH?!?

2 of my three daughters want one of these tablets. I explained my issues to them, but once they saw all that the tablet can do, they STILL want one, which is a testament to the device itself. Like I said, it's a solid device that does more than what I ever expected it to do for less than $100 (I'm listening to a bible podcast on it now!). I have a laptop and a smartphone anyway, so for me, the issues are minor. My intent was to use the tablet for travel and light use (which works great for that, but bring that charger with you! LOL). However, if you think my experiences are going to be a problem, then even at this price, I don't recommend this tablet. As for buying one for my daughters, it's up in the air. I might decide to give this one to my baby girl, and buy the teen and I the Android 4.0 7" Capacitive Touch Screen Tablet PC, 1.2Ghz, 512MB, 4GB, All NEW Idolian TURBOTAB C8 (TM) I hope my review helps. All in all, despite the glitches, I really like this tablet.

I was looking for something with the ability to take credit cards and a smartphone was just too expensive and I thought a tablet was the same level of ripoff...till I found this! I did get a 2GB unit when the add said it was going to be a 4 but with the expandable sd card that was not really a problem. I did have some questions and an issue (which turned out to be Androids fault and not Idolian) And got a response quickly through email multiple times! This runs Android 4.0 and there are LOTS of free apps (the kindle app is compatible)although the twitter and facebook ones are not but you can get to them through your web browser.
For under 100$ this is definitely a look into! I love mine!!!!

This item was delivered promptly and worked directly out of the box. I purchased this as a gift for my 11 year old daughter's birthday and the whole family is enjoying it. Easy to navigate, online quickly, downloaded apps, books and games, all working as they should. I don't know why you would spend outrageous amounts of money on something that starts with an "i" when this product is available.

Bought this tablet for my granddaughter. Well worth 100 bucks. Skeptical about battery life though. Instructions say to give it 4 full charges for best life. It's getting better. Charger looks cheap but, it works. If tablet last a year, money well spent. Just a toy for my 9 year old granddaughter. She's playing games on it now. The only con is suspect battery life and not too fond of the white backside of tablet. WiFi no problems. Downloads, no problems. Going to order a cover for it.

I can't explain how awesome the Idolpad Plus is. The touch screen is so responsive, access to the Google play store, the camera is not so bad, and you expand the storage with a MicroSD card. It has all you want from a tablet and you would not expect such a great product with that price tag, but trust me, it is unbelievable. Definitely buy it!

I'm Jealous - IdolPad+

I recently purchased two IdolPad+ 7 inch tabs for my 5 and 6 year old for xmas. I know what your saying, that young? Yes, they are always grabbing my android phone and navigating their way to play apps on the Google Play store and Netflix. Well, I'm jealous. Not only was this purchase a great find and great price but I am going to get the 10 inch tab for myself. After an exhaustive search throughout the internet looking for a Android pad that was inexpensive and had Google Play store, don't look any further. Why pay $500 for an Ipad. I am pleased with the sturdy construction, the ease of loading the Google play, and adding our WiFi account. The screen quality was good for the kids. I connected the tab to my Dell and it recognized the device right away and was able to transfer movies to the tab. I recommend at a minimum getting the screen protectors. No more losing my phone to the kids, this is a great buy for any age. Also I had great email communication with the support staff on my purchase!

I received this as my first tablet type thing in December. Loved it! Then the plug failed to work all the time and then the whole thing died. It flashes on periodically when I use the identical plug I found. I do think that two months is unacceptable and would never again buy this product - although I LOVED using it when it was working. Hope they will replace it and I can try again to become an advocate of the product.
